The Journal Article Tag Suite {JATS DTD} is a NISO insignia that represents a collection of XML components and traits for tagging journal studies. JATS is not only done for full-text content at PubMed Central (PMC) but is also increasingly accepted by publicists.
For many publishers, the version of the record of a manuscript is collected in XML, and other forms like HTML, PDF, and frequently ePub are produced of this XML. Predestinated, the method of transforming an author’s writings into JATS XML is time spending and expensive, and this is difficult in selective for small publishers.
In a new blog, we demonstrated that publicists should receive documents in any sound file format, including MS Word, Open Office, LaTeX, Markdown, HTML, and PDF.
